SORRY TEX.I forgot to erase the erors that I kept kicking down the screen. Please, may I call these talking paintings? I really like The Dog,theSky and the Sun. It is a great composition. Even before looking closely, my eye had clicked,"WOW" to your choice of teal and orange and little bits of yellow and green helping out. Together as a unit they are very active and invited me for a 2nd look. So, what made me keep liking your composition? I think it is the message of pattern (of lines and shapes and color in motion. The hills and the walkers in the Dog on the Hillside are also full of motion. . I enjoyed looking at your earlier sketch alongside The dog and the Sun and the Dog on the Hill and found a different message. It shows how you selected details: a long extended nose, startling eyes and no nonsense legs.
BEAUTIFUl!
ReplyDeleteI can see the dog lover popping out all over the place - the color, the vibrancy, the energy, and the "BIG SKIES" which I love best.
Sutton how is taking care of your dog going.
Miss you
Joseph

I also like the fact that the sun is giving light to the dog and not asking to be noticed and the cloud window
ReplyDeleteis just there to look down on the dog!

DeleteThanks Grandma bunny, we love your comments.
Is the dog on the hillside the one with or without the rainbow?
P.S.
Rufus couldn't say "baby" so he called me "bb".
Also, he left heaven when Mom and Dad were in Texas, so that's how we got our nicknames.
(Thanks Mom, I miss you! XXX Celia)
